LG drops Android 2.2 OS for their Optimus pad, to launch in 2011 with Gingerbread

LG Electronics Inc, the south Korean consumer electronics giant, has confirmed earlier this week that they have indeed dropped all plans to launch a Tablet PC with the Android 2.2 FroYo operating system.
