Quanta to manufacture RIM’s BlackPad tablet

Taiwan based manufacturer Quanta Computer will be manufacturing the BlackPad, Research In Motion’s (RIM’s) tablet PC, which is expected to be launched by November 2010, according to Apply Daily report.

RIM buys the “BlackPad.com” domain name

Mobilecrunch reports that RIM, the manufacturer of the popular Blackberry phones, has now registered the BlackPad.com domain name. They did an old fashioned WHOIS lookup on the domain name, and found that RIM has purchased the domain earlier this month.
