IFA 2010 has commenced at Berlin, Germany, and engadget have managed to get their hands on the ViewSonic ViewPad 7. The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 is the same OEM device as the OlivePad that should soon be released in India.
They seem to be pretty happy with the Tablet device. They are appreciative of its build quality, and though it is made of plastic it seems to have a feel of metal/glass. Also, ViewSonic will have exclusive distribution rights of the design in Europe, so even though the same device will be available as the OlivePad in India, and probably other names in other geographies, no one else is going to launch it in Europe.
The ViewPad 7 is powered by a 600 MHz Snapdragon processor, and runs the Android 2.2 FroYo operating system. The overall experience seems to be pretty usable, if not really snappy. You can check the video at the source.
