Rydeen has recently announced a 7″ Android OS based Slate Tablet called the gPad GCOM 701. The GCOM 701 will be powered by an 800 MHz Marvell Armada 166 application processor, and 256 MB of RAM.
This gPad tablet device will also feature a 7″ 800 x 480 resistive touch screen, a slot micro SD storage card, Wifi b/g, built-in GPS, bluetooth, microphone and speaker, 3.5 mm audio jack, USB and mini USB, a front facing video camera, and a 2400 mAH battery for a claimed 6 hours – typical low end specs.
