September 21st, 2010It was just early this month that Archos announced their five new Internet tablets with screen sizes ranging from 2.8″ to 10.1″. We had mentioned that these Tablet devices from Archos would be available starting mid to end September for the smaller devices of screen sizes 2.8″, 3.2″, and 4.3″, and mid October for the larger Tablets of 7″ and 10.1″ screen sizes.
If you have been wondering why the devices have still not appeared on store shelves, when it is already past mid September – well, here is some reprieve for you – these Internet Tablets from Archos have now appeared on B&H, the online retailer, for pre-order, with shipping dates in October, and November.
Sure, its a delay, but better late than never, and i am happy to get another month to make up my mind on weather i need the Archos 70 or the Archos 101. What about you?, Have you decided yet, which one of these Archos’ is for you?
Since the iPad will run nearly all iPhone and iPod Touch apps, there will not be a lack of applications at launch time.
While not exactly cheap, $499 for a 16GB iPad isn’t unreasonable.
