5 Android FroYo Tablets unleashed by Archos

Archos have announced not one, but five different Android FroYo based Tablets today. The screen sizes range from 2.8″, 3.2″, and 4.3″ that are just PMPs, not really tablet PCs, and larger sized 7″ and 10.1″ Tablets.

All of them are expected to ship with the Android 2.2 FroYo operating system. The rest of the specs differ, however. The devices with smaller screen sizes, the Archos 28, Archos 32, and the Archos 43, come with resistive touch screens, while the larger models- the Archos 70, and the Archos 101, come with capacitive touch screens.

Similarly the two smallest models- the Archos 28, and the Archos 32, are powered by an 800 MHz ARM Cortex A8 processors, while the three larger models come powered by a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8.

The Archos 28, and 32 Internet Tablets are expected to hit store shelves by mid to end September, while the three larger models should be available by mid October, all at very reasonable price points.
