Motorola is reportedly working on an Android based Tablet PC along with and for Verizon, which should feature support for Verizon Fios TV.
The Motorola tablet PC is said to have a 10″ touch screen and run on Google latest Android 3.0 Gingerbread OS. This tablet should be thinner and lighter than an iPad and also support Adobe Flash. The USP of the tablet should however, be its ability to access Verizon’s Fios cable TV service. According to Financial Times, the tablet should allow tethering, and have 2 cameras – one front for video conferencing and one at the back for taking pictures.
Motorola has been open about its intention to enter the tablet PC market, and had also displayed a prototype device at the CES 2010.
Rumors indicate that this Motorola Verizon tablet PC should arrive November 2010, giving rise to speculations that Google might also be ready to launch their latest version of the Android, Gingerbread, byNov this year too.
