Samsung Galaxy P1000 Tablet firmware leak hints at a 1GHz Hummingbird

Heres some more news on the Samsung Galaxy Android Tablet P1000 – We had earlier reported a possibility of Samsung’s tablet device running Android 2.2 FroYo on a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. However, a recently leaked european firmware build  P1000XXJH3 for the Samsung tablet indicates that the device will be running the same 1 GHz Hummingbird processor as its smaller sibling the Galaxy S smartphone.

The European build lends more credibility to our earlier report that it would first launch on the Vodafone UK network shortly. Also, thanks to this build, we also have a few more technical details on the tablet device’s hardware specs:

  • Screen resolution 480×800.
