August 16th, 2010Heres some more news on the Samsung Galaxy Android Tablet P1000 – We had earlier reported a possibility of Samsung’s tablet device running Android 2.2 FroYo on a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. However, a recently leaked european firmware build P1000XXJH3 for the Samsung tablet indicates that the device will be running the same 1 GHz Hummingbird processor as its smaller sibling the Galaxy S smartphone.
The European build lends more credibility to our earlier report that it would first launch on the Vodafone UK network shortly. Also, thanks to this build, we also have a few more technical details on the tablet device’s hardware specs:
- Screen resolution 480×800.
- Camera Max resolution 2048×1536.
- Camcorder Max resolution 2048×1536. (Not sure about this info)
- Front cam Max resolution 240×320.
- CPU Profile ARM11 – not sure about this, the Hummingbird is not ARM11.
- CPU Core S5PC110.
- CPU speed 1.0GHz.
- Flashplayer.
- GPS. (Google Maps)
- WIFI.
- SyncML support.
- Swype.
- JavaScript 1.5.
- Bleutooth (Don’t know the version yet)
