If you have been following tablet news recently, you would have come across the rumored Blackberry tablet. Bloomberg is now reporting this Blackberry tablet from RIM could come as early as Nov this year. They also claim that the Blackberry tablet is going to be called BlackPad after all, quoting their source close to the company’s plans.
The device is expected to be sized similar to the iPad that comes with a 9.7″ screen. We had earlier heard claims ranging from a 7″ to a 10.1″ screen for this device. It should also be priced similar to the $499 which is the starting price for the ipad. With everything similar to the iPad, RIM seems to be counting on the Blackberry 6 OS to provide the differentiator.
Marisa Conway, a spokesperson, for RIM declined to comment, citing company policy not to comment on rumor or speculation.
