The Apple iPad is expected to reach nine more countries by this Friday, the 23rd July. Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxemburg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Mexico, Singapore, and Hong Kong are the next few lucky countries that should be shortly welcoming the ipad.
With this, Apple will almost double the number of countries that offer an iPad for sale officially. The popular tablet PC first launched in the US on the 3rd April, and then moved on to UK, Australia, Canada, France, Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland on the May 28th.
Your tablet PC news source reported earlier that Apple had reached a milestone of sales of 3 millions units of iPad. With this expansion into nine more countries, Apple should be getting closer to their plan of selling 2.5 million iPad units monthly towards the end of the year.
