Andrew Bocking, VP of Handheld Software Product Management, has posted on the Blackberry blogs about the Blackberry 6, and seems to be very excited about the software launch planned for this summer. He says he is absolutely in love with the Blackberry 6 experience.
They have a new video posted on Youtube to showcase the new applications and features along with the new fluid user experience. There is the universal search, context sensitive pop-up menus, aggregated social network integration, and the all new WebKit based browser that comes out of last years TorchMobile acquisition. This seems to be running on a full touchscreen platform, makes me wonder if this could end up running on the Blackberry Tablet PC.
The video below. I have to confess, i am falling in love with it too, and i am not even a blackberry fan. Can hardly wait for this holiday season – We should see the launch of the Blackberry 6, and the MeeGo for tablets as well.
