This is not breaking news, but Sharp had unvieled their new 10″ 3D LCD touchscreen prototypes in Apr. There isn’t too much of details available yet, but we have enough to know you don’t need glasses to enjoy the 3D effect (what a relief !!), and you can also toggle between 3D and 2D at the touch of a button.
Sharp had also displayed a similar 3″ 3D screen. The Japanese giant unvieled the 2 LCD screens, demonstrating the 3D technology using a 3D photo album, and a 3D video camera. The press release mentions that the displays are being specially designed for mobile devices, including cellphones, portable video game systems, and digital cameras.
I am so dejected they did not include tablets in the list. I so want 3D in my tablet too ..
