Lenovo U1 Hybrid divorces Skylight, flirts with Android

It was believed that Lenovo was canning both the U1 hybrid and the Skylight OS it was supposed to run. However, Tabletpcreview now reports that its just the skylight OS that was shelved. The U1 hybrid project is still on and is expected to run Android.

Apparently, Lenovo’s android powered LePhone is doing pretty well in China, and the Lenovo development team has had plenty of time and experience with the Android platform, and this should help them create a custom android build for the U1 in quick time. But, how quick, even the Lenovo team doesn’t seem to know!!
