Asus had several devices on display. This one called the eeePad is a 10″ device running windows embedded compact 7. Its win CE with a really fancy UI. There were several widgets on the home screen, an e-reader application, opera browser.
The eeePad EP121 has a 12″ screen, a core 2 duo CULV processor, a docking station cum keyboard, a 10 hour battery life and runs windows 7.
They also had on display the eeeTablet that is a digital note taking device. A 2450 dpi touch screen that accepts input from a magnetic pen, not a typical touch screen. A dark metallic finish with a 2 MP camera at the back. This comes with a 10 hour battery life too.
These devices come with a starting price of around $199, and should be available after September this year. Well, exciting times are ahead ..
